HFCI Board Meetings
The HFCI Board meets at 7:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month in Room 306 of the City of Fairfax, Virginia City Hall. Visitors are welcome.

Sunday, May 9
"Garden Walk and Music"
treat your special mother to a musical renditions and a guided walk of the Kitty Pozer Garden. Meet at Ratcliffe-Allison House, 10386 Main Street.

Sunday, June 13
“John Quincy Marr: First Blood for the Confederacy”
illustrated biographical talk about the first Confederate officer killed in the Civil War by local historian Edward C. Trexler.

“The Arts in Fairfax”

performance by the “Happy Feet” Cloggers led by Martha Hemingway.

performance by members of the Fairfax Jubil-Aires Barbershop Chorus.

The following guided walking tours are scheduled from the
Fairfax Museum and Visitor Center

Discovering Old Town Fairfax
2 p.m. May 23

Walking tour offers in-depth exploration of Old Town Fairfax, the heart of the city.
Cost:
$5 for adults
$3 for youth and students

Tales from the Tombstones
2 p.m. October 31

Walking tour of Fairfax City Cemetery
Cost:
$5 for adults
$3 for youth and students


Free guided tours of the Ratcliffe-Allison House, 10386 Main Street, and the adjoining Kitty Pozer Garden are offered from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays from April 3 through October 30.


Docent-led tours of Old Town Fairfax are offered May 22, June 5, June 19, July 3, July 17, August 7, August 21, September 4 and September 18. Tours step off at 6 p.m. from the Ratcliffe-Allison House, 10386 Main Street. These tours, conducted by Historic Fairfax City, Inc., cost $5 per person or $15 per family.
