Karush, professor of modern Latin American history and chair of the Department of History at George Mason University. His lecture will be on "Hearing the Americas: Latin American Music in the Early Years of the Recording Industry."
May is National Preservation Month. Come hear architect and architectural historian Andrew Marshall speak about "The Importance of Historic Preservation." His lecture will focus on why preserving and maintaining our historic structures matters. Mr. Marshall has vast experience and expertise throughout Virginia including in our own community of Fairfax City.
